A new' low level' tunnel has been in course of construction for some time past, and there is now about 70 'feet more to drive to cut the reef. Tho lode wiil be intersected 50 fret lower than auy previous workings, but a trial shaft has been sunk to within 15 feet of the present ' level, aud in which stone that gives -
overy promise of being highly payable has heen already obtained. The striking of the reef irf this Ibtfel is therefore looked forWafd td' tfith soMe'iritef&t.
