THE INANGAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL. 07TIEREASJ the Inangahua CouNTr Council, at a meeting held on the Ist day of A u Just, 1877, pursuant to tie powers conferjed by Section 107 of the • Counties ct, 187G, and in ex ercise of f he same, an lof all other powers in this behalf the n enabling, resolved that a GENERAL RATE on all livable Property witi in the said County, for carrying into effect the general purposes of the said let, should be made and levied in accordance with the provisions of the said Ac , and of " The Eating Act, 1876." And . -hereas, in and by the said resolution the Council resolved that the said Rate shi uld be made and levied as aforesaid for ;ho period of one year from .fhc day of the making and levying thereof, and should lie paid in one sum, and that the amount of such rate should be the sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND onlthe values of the Rateable Properly as appearing in the Valuation Roll now ra fapce in the County aforesaid. Notice therefore is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the last mentioned Act lhat the said Council on THURSDAY, tbe 16th dayiof August, now instant, intend to makepnd levy such Rate, and to order and direct that the amount thereof shall be the sum of One Shilling in the Pound on the \klues aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall le for the period of One Year from the pate of the making and levying thereof, and shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, low next ensuing.
