THE INJINGAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL. VTTHEREA S, the Inan<?ahua County Councu, at a meeting held on the Ist day of August, 1877, pursuant to tie powers conferred by Section 107 of the 1 Counties ct, 1876, and in exercise of 'he same, ana of all other powers in this behalf them enabling, resolved that a GENERAL RATE on all llatsable Property within the said County, for ' carrying into affect the general purposes of the said A|t, should be made and , levied in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, Jnd of " The Rating Act, 1876." And whJreas, in and by the said resolution tho Cbuncil resolved that the said Kate should be made and levied as ' aforesaid for the beriod of one year from jho day of the making and levying thereof, and should be pan] in one sum, and that the amount of such rate should be the sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on the values of the Rateable Property as appearing in the Valuation Roll now in force in {the County aforesaid. Notice therefore is h :reby given pursuant to the provisions o' the last mentioned Act tbat the said Cou icil on THURSDAY, the 16th day of August, now instant, intend to make and jvy such Rate, and to order and direct tli it the amount thereof shall be the sum < f One Shilling in the Pound on the valuds aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall be fpr the period of One Year from the dafe of the making and levying thereof, anq shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, noi nest ensuing.
