THE INANGAHUA COUNTY CIOUNCIL, VITHEREaI, the InaNgahua Covxrt Council, at ja meeting held on the Ist day of August, 1877, pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 107 of the ' Counties ct, 11876, and in exercise of ♦lie same, aid of all other powers in this behalf them enabling, resolved that a GENERAL] RATE on all Rateable Property within tho said County, for carrying infp effect tho general purposes of the saidiAct, should bo made and levied in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, and of "The Rating Act, 187& lv And whereas, in and by tho said resolution the! Council resolved that the sard Kate should be made and levied as aforesaid for tie period of one year from jhe day of the making and levying thereof, and should bo Jpaid in one sum, and that the amount of Isuch rate should be the sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on tie values of tho Rateable Property as appearing in the Valuation Roll now in fordo m the County aforesaid. Notice therefore is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the last mentioned Act that the eaidlCouneil oa THURSDAY, the 16tb day d£ August, now instant, intend to malse and levy ench Bate, and to order and direct! that the amount tboreof shall be the sum of One Shilling in tho Pound on the valies aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall ba for the period of Ono Year from the dkte of the making and levying thereof, and' shall be- paid ia one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, now next ensuing.
