V\THEREAS, th 1 Inanoahua Countt Council, at a 1 iceting held on the Ist day of August/ 1877, pursuant to t&c powers conferred/ by Section 107 of the 1 Connties ct, 1876% and in ezerciso of tbe same, and/ of all other powers in this behalf them enabling, resolved that a GENERAL /BATE o» oil Rateable Property within tho said County, for carrying in o effect tho general purposes of the sak Act, should be made and levied in ai cordance with the prorisions , of the said Act, and of *• The Bating Act, 1876." And whereas, in and by tbe said resolution the Council resolved that tho said Kate should bo made and lovied as aforesaid for the period of one year from ibo day of tin making and levying thereof, and should I c paid in one sum, and that the amount oV such rate should bo tbe sum of OME SHILLING in the POUND on the values of tho Rateable Property as appearing in the Valuation 801 l now in forde in the County aforesaid. Notice therefore is hereby given pursuant to tbe provisions of tho last mentioned Act that the said) Council on THUBSDAY, the 16th day if August, now instant, intend to makeJand levy such Bate, and to order and dircet that the amount thereof thall be the sdm of One Shilling in the Pound on the lalues aforesaid ; that the said Bate shall bn for tbe period of One Year from theldate of tbe making and levying thereof, end shall be paid in one ram ob THUr&DAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, 4>w next ensuing.
