VTTHEREAS, tl c Inangahuv County CoUNcn., at a meeting held on the Ist day of August] 1577, pursuant to t&c powers conferred >y Section 107 of the ' Counties ct, 1876 and in exercise of 'he same, and of all other powers in this behalf them enlbling, resolved that a GENERAL RATE on all Ratable Property within the said County, for carrying into effecjt the general purposes of the said Act, Jshould be made and levied in accordance, with the provisions of the said Act, and of " The Rating Act, 1876." And wheraas, in and by the said resolution the Cotlncil resolved that the said Hate should be made and levied as aforesaid for the ptriod of one yo«r from .(ho day of the maki igand levying thereof, and should be pai< in one sum, and that the amount of sue i rate should be th.s sum of one Shilling in the POUND on the jalues of the liveable Property as appolring in the Valuation Roll now in force in the County aforesaid. Notice therefore iJ hereby given pursuant to the provisions! of the last mentioned Act that the said Cbuucil on THURSDAY, the 16th day of J August, now instant, intend to make and levy such Rate, and to order and direct Jthat the amount thereof shall be the suia of One Shilling in the Pound on the values aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall be for the period of One Year from the date of the making and levying thereof, and shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, nbw next ensuing.
