And whereas, in and by the said resolution the Council risolved that the said Kate should be made and levied as aforesaid for the period of one year from jhe day of the making and levying thereof, and should be paid iu ? one sum, and th&t the amouot of such rute should be the sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on tbe values of the Rateable Property as appearing /a the Valuation Roll now in force in the/ County aforesaid. Notice therefore is hereby given pursuant the provisions of the jast mentioned Act that tbe said Council c/THURSDAY, the 16th day of Augifct, now instant, intend to make and lev? such Rate, and to order and direct that the amount thereof shall be tbe sum of/one Shilling in the Pound on the value! aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall bo fo\ ijhe period of One Year from tbe data of the making and levying thereof, andfshall be pnid in one sum on THURSDIY, ihe 27th day of SEPTEMBER, noJ next ensuing.
