[BST ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. [per press association.] Wellington 1 , Sepiember 18. Mrs Trueman and her married daughter, Mary Leonard Mudgeway, were arrested to day on a charge of child murder, about the 27th of August last. The daughter was confined, the mother acting as mid« wife. The child is said to have been born alive, but mysteriously disappeared. The police discovered the body of the child in a shed on Trueman's premises buried in quicklime. The mother and daughter stand remanded.
