THE INANCIAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL, TS7HEREAS, fihe Inangahoa County Council, at a meeting held on the Ist day of Augusk 1877, pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 107 of the ' Counties ct, 1876, and in exercise- of fbe same, and of all other powers in this behalf them enabling, resolved that a GENERAL RATE on all Rateable Property within tpe said County, for carrying into effect; the general purposes of the sard Act, ihould be made and levied in accordani c with the provisions of the said Act, and of " The Rating Act, 1876." And wheres s, in and by the said resolution the Council resolved that the said Kate should He made and levied a» aforesaid for the period of one year from jhe day of the makin ; and levying thereof, and should be paid n one sum, and that the amount of such rate should be the sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on the values of the Rateable Property as appearing in the Valuation Roll now in force in tlie County aforesaid. Notice therefore is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of I the last mentioned Act that the said Coundil on THURSDAY, the 16th day of Aulust, now instant, intend to make and levjy such Rate, and to order and direct that the amount thereof shall bo the sum of One Shilling in the Pound on the values aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall be for tho period of One Year from the date tof the making and levying thereof, and snail be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, now Jest ensuing.
