Eminent Hospital Physicians of London stated that Dr J". Com<l3 Buowite was the discoverer of Chlorodyne; that they prescribed it largely, and mean no other than Dr Beownk's.— Sen Times, of July 12, 1864 l'he Public, therefore, are cautioned against using any other than De J. Coilis Beowne's Chlobidtne. REMEDIAL USES AND ACTION. This INVALUABLE REMIiDY produces quiet refreshing sleep, relieves pain, calms the system, restores the deranged functions, and stimulates healthy action of the secretions of the body, without creating any of those unpleasant results attending the use of opium. Montgomery, Esq., late Inspector of Hospitals, , Bombay: "Ohlorodyne is a most valuable romedp in Neuralgia, Asthma, and Dysentery. To it I fairly owe my restoration to health, after eighteen months' severe suffering, and when all other remedies had failed." Dr. Lowb, Medical Missionary in India, reports (December, 1865) : — •' That in nearly every case of Cholera in which Dr. J. Colms Beowne's Chlorodyue was administered, the patient reco^esei." Extract from tho Medical Times, January 12, 1866 : — "Clorodyno is, prescribed by scores of orthodox medical practitioners. Of course, it would not thus be singularly popular, did t not ' supply a want and fill a place.'
