THE INANGAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL. VT7HEREAS, the Inangahua County Council, ajt a meeting held on the Ist day of August, 1877, pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 107 of the ' Counties A<lt, 1876," and in exercise of the same, and of all other powers in this behalf tliem enabling, resolved that a GENERAL RATE on all Rateable Property within the said County, for carrying intl effect the general purposes of the said lAct, should be made and levied in accordance with the provisions of the said Acs, and of " The Rating Act, 1876." And phereas, in and by the said resolution im Council resolved that the said Rate s|ould be made and levied as { aforesaid forj the period of one year from 4he day of tho making and levying thereof, and should jbe paid in one sum, and that the amount! of such rate should be the sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND o \ tho values of the Rateable Property as appearing in the Valuation Roll now in force in the County aforesaid. Notice theri fore is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the last mentioned Act that the laid Council on THURSDAY, the 16th ddy of August, now instant, intend to m&ke and levy such Rate, and to order and direct that the amount thereof shall be the! sum of One Shilling in the Pound on the values aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall bo for the period of One Year from the date of tho making and levying there )f, and shall bo paid in ono sum on TH DRSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBI !R, now next ensuing.
