THE INANUAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL, ITTHEREAB, the Inangahua County Councii, at a meeting held on the Ist day of August, 1877, pursuant to the powers oonferred by Section 107 of the • Counties Act, 1876 " and in exercise of tbe same, and of all other powers in this behalf them ena >ling, resolved that a GENERAL RATS on all Rateable Property within th i said County, for carrying into effectlthe general purposes of the said Act, suould be made and levied in accordance With the provisions of the said Act, and ofl " The Rating Act, 1876." And whereas, to and by the said resolution the Council! resolved that the said Kate should be made and levied as | aforesaid for the period! of one year from .jbe day of the making and levying thereof, and should be paid in one sum, and that the amount of suoh ratie should bo the sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on the value* of the Rateable Property as appearing! in the Valuation Roll now in force in the C-ounty aforesaid. Notice therefore is herel y given pursuant to the provisions of tl e last mentioned Act that the said Council bn THURSDAY, the lGth day of August, now instant, intend to make and levy such Rate, and to order and direct that tl o amount thereof shall be the sum of Ole Shilling in the Pound on the values a bresaid ; that the said Rate shall be for tfie period of One Year from the date on the making and levying thereof, and shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY.Itbe 27th day of SEPTEMBER, now neit ensuing.
