THE INANGAHUA COUNTY I COUNCIL, VfTHEE EAS, the Inangahua County Council, at a meeting held on the Ist day of August, 1877, pursuant te the powers con 'erred by Section 107 of the | ' Counties Act, 1876," and in exercise of tbe same, nnd of all other powers in this behalf them enabling, resolved that a GENERAL! EATE on all Rateable Property within the said County, for carrying injo effect the general purposes of the said Act, should be made and levied in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, and of " The Eating Act, 1876." And whereas, in and by the said resolution the Council resolved that the said Rate Bpould be made and levied as | aforesaid forl the period of one year from •the day of thd making and levying thereof, ; and Bhould be paid in one sum, and that the amount of such rate should be the sum of OME SHILLING in the POUND on'tibe values of the Eate'able Property as appearing in the Valuation Eoll now in force in the County aforesaid. Notice therefore is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the last mentioned Act that the said Council on THURSDAY, the 16th day of August, now instant, intend to make and levy such Eate, and to order and direct! that the amount thereof shall be the sum of One Shilling in the Pound on tbe values aforesaid ; that the said Eate shall b» for the period of One Year from the date of the making and levying thereof, and shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, Lw next ensuing.
