Wood stated that Dr Collis Beowne was undoubtedly the inventor of " CHLORODYNE ;" that the story of the defendant Freeman being the inventor was deliberately untrue, which lie regretted had been sworu to. Eminent Hospital Physicians of London stilted that Dr J. CoiiLis Bbowne was tlio discoverer of Chlorodyne ; that they prescribe! it' largely, and mean no other than Dr Brown is's.— See Times, of July 12, 1864. The Public, therefore, are cautioned against using any other than Db J. Collis Bbowne's Chlortoyne. BEMEDIAL TTSEB AND ACTION. Dr. Lowe, Medical Missionary in India, reports (December, 1865) :-r-"' 1 hat in nearly every case of Cholera in which Dr. J. Collis Bbowne's Chlorodyne was administered, the patient recouped." Extract from tho Medival Times, January 12, 1866 : — "Clorodyno is prescribed by scores , of orthodox medical practitioners. Of course, it would not thus be singularly popular, did t not ' supply a want and fill a place.' " Extract from the General Board of Health, " London, as to itu effioucy in Choieia: — "So stiongly convinced aro we of the immense value of this remedy, that we cannot too forcibly urge the necessity of adopting it in all caßes." Beware of spurious and dangerous compounds sold as "Chlorodyne," from which lrecjuent fatal results have followed. bee lending article, Pannaceutioal Journal, Ist August, 1869, whioli states that Dr. J.
