FIERY CROSS.
Ihe main shaft is down, th,e required depth, and a chamber is bein,g cut out to start a drive for the reef. The stopes are opened as far as tho Alexandra boundary and over the 20-foofc leve!^ showing a good deal of stone in the stopes. They are now crushing at the Battery, and expect to put through over 400: tons.
