EUROPEAN. T.HE TURCO-RUSSUN WAR. London, July 22. ; The troop Crocodile, Malabar, and Euphrates have received orders to be ready "to proceed to sea on Wednesday. formidable railway strike taken place America. The military were called into action, and fired ' amongst the people, killing ten women, and thirty men. The Russians have besieged Widin, and taken Kes'nek. They are now marching on Phihopoli's. They were repulsed with heavy losses at Pleona. A despatch from Mukhtar Pasha at Ears states that on the 19th the Hussions were attacked on the right wing, defeated with heavy loss, and compelled to fall back. It is believed that Midhat Pasha, now ,n Londpn, will be recalled. A Herald's special states that a panic
occurred at Adrianople and Stamboul when it was known that the Russians had crossed the Balkans without opposition. The Bulgarians are everywhere welcoming: the'Russiahs as deliverers. It is rumored that the English Government ' intend despatching British troops to Gallapoli.
