Wood stated tbat Dr Collis Bhowne was undoub*eelly the inventor of •« CHLORODYNE j" that the story of the defendant Freeman being the inventor was deliberately untrue, which he regretted had been sworn to. Eminent Hospital Physicians of London stated that Dr J. Collis Beowne was the discoverer of Chlorodyne j that they prescribe it largely, and mean no other than Dr Bbowstb's.— See Times, of July 12, 1864. The Public, therefore, are cautioned against using any other than Db J. Collis Browne's Chlobodine. REMEDIAL USES AND ACTION. [ Dr. Lows, Medical Missionary in India, I reports (December, 1865) : — •• That in nearly [ every case of Cholera in which Dr. J. Collis 1 Bbowns's Chlorodyne was administered, the patient recovered." [ Extract from the Medical Times, January ' 12, 1866 :— "Olorodyne is prescribed by scores ' of orthodox medical practitioners. Of course, ' it would not thus be singularly popular, did 3 t not • supply a want and fill a place. 1 " ' Extraot from the General Board of Health, fc London, as to its efficacy in Choleia :—•• So } stiongly convinced are we of the immense 1 value of this remedy, that we cannot too for--3 cibly urge the necessity of adopting it in all I cases." Beware of spurious and dangerous compounds sold as "Chlorodyne," from which 3 frequent fatal results have lollowed. II fcee leading article, Parmaceutical Journal, ' Ist August, 1869, which states that Dr. J. ' Collis Browne was tho luventor of Chloro--1 dyne ; that it is always -right to use bis pre--1 paration when Chlorodyne is ordered. CAUTION.— None genuine without the ' words, " Dr. J.
