GOLDEN FLEECE EXTENDED.
This company has again come to the front with another handsome parcel of gold weighing 1182 ozs, and is tbe proceeds of four weeks, washing. The whole of the stone sent through for this crushing came from No 5 level in the old Ajax ground, and it is indeed a gratify* ing item to find the lode upon a level close upon 500 feet from the surface, giving such a remarkably good yield, and unquestionably augurs a continuance of tbe prosperity shareholders have enjoyed during the last few months. Communi* cation has also been opened on the Fleece block from the winze to No 5 level.
