London, Jans 11. Berlin papers consider that a dissolotion of the French Chamber woutd mean a triumph for the Ultra-mona tynists, and result in a general outbreak of hostilities in Europe. The Caar is at Bucharest. The Russian right wing in Walla* ohia is falling back on Futinee. The Turks from Batourin are opera' ting in the Trans-Caucasian provinces. Official despatches state that the attempted passage of the Danube by Russians, at Nicopolis, was repulsed. The Russian Press is indignant at the notion that Russia will be satisfied with peace without solid guarantees being given by Turkey for the better government of the Christian subjects. The Russians are massing troops opposite Rustcbuk and Nicopolis. The Turkish Chamber has agreed to a forced loan of five millions. The Turks have been successful everywhere in Montenegro. Singapore, June 13. Mukbater Pasha's despatches report that the Russians are retiring between Kara and Erauroum. Galatz was abandoned and retaken by the Turks. A general rising at Candia is ex* pected. The Russian Government has ordered a military levy of two hundred and fifty thousand. Insurrectionary agitations have taken place at Ejuairua and Tbessaly.
