Dr. Lows, Medical Missionary in lucf.u, reports (December, 1865) :—••' That in nearly every cuso of Cholera in which Dr. J. Cottia Bbowne's Chlorodyne was administered, tho patient recovered." Extract from the Medical Times, January 12, 1866 :— "Ulorodyne ia prescribed by scores of orthodox medical practitioners. Of course, it would not thus be singularly popular, did t not ' supply a want and fill a place.' " Extract from the General Board of Health, London, us to ite efficacy in Choieia: — "Ho stiongly convinced are we of the immense value of this remedy, that we cannot too forcibly urge tbe necessity of adopting jt in all cases." I'ewaro of spurious and dangerous compounds sold as "Chlorodyne," from which frequent fatal results have followed.
