When the Title consists of a Grant,, dated on or subsequent to the 28th December, 1841, none of the land included in- which has been dealt wilh— Where the Certificate of titlo is directed to issue in tne name of the A >plicant : Value of laud £10G mix 2 Where tho Certificate of title is directed to issue in the name of - the Purchaser : Value of land £100 1 10 0 Theso charges are increased by 4s 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. 2. When the Applicant is the original Grantee, and the land has been dealt with ; 01 whero the Applicant is not the original Grantee--Whero the value of the land is £100 £2 14 2 Where the value of tho land £200 8 3 4 Where the value of the land is £300 3 12 G Whero tho value of the land is £400 ... 4 18 Where tho value of land is above £400, tho fees increase at tho rate of 4s 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. These charges also represent the cost of Conveying Land. Inasmuch'as applicants to bring land under the Act can direct the Certificates of Title to issue in the names of any other persons. Credit for Fees is GKven, When desired by tho Applicant in all cases whero tho proprietor applies to havo tho law? registered under the Act in his own name, and tho fees may remain unpaid nntil ' ■ la jd is dealt with. Any person, therefore, who wishes to { " his land under the provisions of the Act, order that whenever he deals with it he ' bo in a position to avail himself of 1 facilities ali'orded by having a ltegistterea : Title, can do so Without Any Present Cost, : by allowing tho fees to remain unpaid until auch dealing tal;es place, lie will then be in a position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, or otherwise deal with his land at a moment's uotico. Any Title, however long and complex, may be investigated at a cost to the Applicant of only Five Shillings ; for if the Titlo is reected all fees arc returned, with the cxceptioi _, of tbat a_ount, CEETIFICATES OP TITLE ARE ' ABSOLUTELY INDEFEASIBLE. ALL TITLES ASE GUARANTEED B_ ; TIIE GOVERNMENT. On all Conveyances by Peed under the old system, the cost of registration, in the Deeds Registry, over and above tho Solicitor's oharge, is never less than Fifteen Shillings, frequently very much more ; while land which has been ' bought under the provisions of "The Laud Transfer Act " can be transferred at a total cost of Eleven Shillings where a whole section is conveyed ; and whero only part is conveyed (and therefore a fresh Certificate of Titlo is necessitated), of Thirity-one Shillings, wliich is the highest sum allowed by the Act, no matter what the yalue or area of the land. Under tho Regulations in force on and after i tho let January, 187**, the charge for Certificates of Titks issued upon Memoranda of Transfer is reduced to Ten Shillings, in all cases where the value of the land i 3 under Ten Pounds. The total cost of executing a mortgage or '■ lease of land,, registered under the Act, is , Twelve Shillings, no matter what tho amount • involved.
