Wood stated that Dr Collis Bbowne was undoubtedly the inventor of "CHLORODYNE j" that the story of the defendant Freeman being the inventor, was deliberately untrue, which he regretted had been sworn io. Eminent Hospital Physicians of London stated that Dr J. Collis Bbowstb was the discoverer of Chlorodynei that they prescribe, it largely, and mean uo other than Dr Bbowne's.— See Times, of July 12, 18(54 The Public, therefore, arc cautioned against using any other than Da J. Collis Bbowne's CniottTDiNE. REMEDIAL USES ANO ACTION. Montgomery, Esq., late Inspector of Hospitals, , Bomba y: "Chlorodyne is a most valuabb remedp in Neuralgia, Asthma, and Dysentery. To it I fairly owe my restoration to health, after eighteen months' severe suffering, and when all other remedies had failed." Dr. Lowk, Medical Missionary in lud;a, reports (December, 1865; :— •« That in nearly every case of Cholera iv which Dr. J. Collis Bbownb's Chlorodyne was administered, tho patient recotewJ." Extract from the Medical Times, January 12, 1866: — "Clorodyne is prescribed by scores of orthodox medical practitioners. Of course, it would uot thus be singularly popular, did t not « supply a want and fill a place.' " Extract from the General Board of Health, Lpndon, as to itb efficacy in Choleia*.— •" So stiongly convinced are wo of the immense value of this remedy, that we cannot too forcibly urge the necessity of adopting it in all cases." Beware of spuricus ancl dangerous com- | pounds sold as •' Chlorodyne," from which : frequent fatal results have followed. See leading' article, Farmaceidical Journal, Ist August, 1869, which states that Dr. J.
