Further information respecting Turner, the man who was gored by a bull, shows that the right jaw, portions of the palate and nose were torn completely away, and were found lying on the ground. The right eye was also put out, and the left eye injured. The bull was up to the time of the occurrence a very quiet one. Turner is 55 years of age, and is still alive, but ■ there is very little hope of recovery. The Christelmrch police have been sworn in under the Armed Constabulary.. I DuNEDnr, May 3.
