Judge Gillies rule 3 that tbe word " meeting " in the Bankruptcy Act means more than one person. Proceedings upon proxies, where there was not more than one person present, was invalid. This applies to several discharges granted under the Act of 1875 which were granted on proxies, and a great number of bankrupts will have to be re-whitewashed. The directors of the Moatira mine send daily telegrams to inform the share* holders of their progress.
