WEALTH OF NATIONS
No particular alteration in connection with the interior or outside works has occurred during the past week. The battery is constantly employed with an abundance of stone at command, and the fact of the 25th dividend being declared, ' denotes a prosperous condition of affairs. I learn that a very handsome sum has already been subscribed in aid of the widow and family of the late Peter Campbell, who lost his life in this mine, and in connection with this movement it is worthy of mention that Mr M'Millan, the company's manager, haß collected over a hundred pounds principly from shareholders resident in Greymoutb. No change has taken place in the workings going on in the old Enterprise, where two hands are engaged prospecting.
