His wife was found dead, and the baby is missing, and no donbt was drowned. A furiotw northerly gale was blowing at the time, and it was intensely dark. The hoik carried no light. A report is cur* rent that the steamer Taupo, which left for Picton a little after midnight, ran into the hulk. The steamer was seen very neat, and it appeared ip .'remain alongside for a few minules and then s? earned away . The hulk sunk abont 1 twenty anionics after the supposed collision.
