Foster, alluding to Educational matters at Aberdeen, strongly urged the study of modern languages in preference to Greek and Latin, Spurgeon, ifc ia reported, offered up prayer at his services for a ehanga of tha Ministry in England. Meetings have been held at Stafford liouse, under the presidency of the Duke of Sutherland, aod subscriptions raised for the relief of the disasters in tha Turkish army. A shocking murder was committed at Pimlico, by a young man named Reiday, who has been apprehended, The body of a young lady was fouud in the Mile-End dock, the skull being fractured, the legs fastened together, both being broken. The efforts of the police failed to discover anything about her,
