I.W.W. TOO HOT FOR " FEILDING STAR."

QUOTING COPIOUSLY FROM THE “ 1.U.”

The “ Feilding Star,” in introducing a long quotation from the “ Industrial Unionist,’ ’ makes odious comparison between the utterances of the I.W.W. and other Labour organisations as follows: —

“ The following extracts are taken from the current issue of the 4 Industrial Unionist,' a monthly publication bearing the imprint * Published (in Auckland) by the N.Z. Branch of the I.W.W. ’ Law-abiding* citizens can contrast these inflammatory statements (not intended for widespread public purusal) with the mild and carefully worded manifesto issued by the Federation of Labour 4 for the public information.’ ”

After the above follow long quotations from the 44 1.U.,” selected and separated from the context, and jumbled so as to convey a wrong impression. We have no comment to offer on the contrast between our 44 inflammatory suggestions ” and any manifesto, but the business manager has thought some about the assertion that we wish to restrict our circulation!
