Vigorous work has been put in here, and there is much enthusiasm for the strikers. The Carters have decided to handle no scab cargo. The Waters!ders have decided not to recognise the new Arbitration Union.
Painters and Railwaymen are in full sympathy witli strike, and have struck substantial levies and donated money. There is a likelihood of general strike extending to this district. —R- E. Bell.
