ANOTHER SLAP AT ARBITRATION, AND A REQUEST FOR MAYOR PARR TO RESIGN.

A considerable amount of enthusiasm was evidenced by the members of the Auckland Masters Drainers’ Association at their meeting which was held last evening, when it was decided, by an overwhelming majority, to recede from the pale of the Arbitration Court. A deputation was also appointed to wait upon the Mayor to-day, requesting him to resign office immediately. Incidentally a donation of £5 was contributed to the Strike Fund Committee, whilst, on the other hand, a strong resolution of no confidence in the Massey Governmnet was unanimously carried. This is liow the Master Drainers feel ujion the matter. Who’ll be the next?
