The daily papers have been screeching for the Secret Ballot in every second issue. They have got a taste of it from Wellington. The Caters’ Fnion took a secret ballot to-day (Friday) on the question of continuing the strike, and decided to go on with the strike by a majority of 287 to 34. More hair to come out in the offices of the Em ploy er s ’ Federation.
