Financially, this paper is rocky; we expected that from the start, and we make no apology for asking for help. No “useful people” are anxious to drop donations our way, and we want none of their assistance; we do want help, however, from real rebels. #

All original matter is written by wage-plugs in actual, contact with industrial conditions, and the steady increase in circulation justifies the conclusion that the paper is appreciated. A weekly Industrial Unionist is wanted, but it must be a fortnightly first, Two hundred halfcrowns would steady us up. When we get them you’ll get a fortnightly paper. Will you send one of the first hundred ?
