MORE FOR FARMERS RETURN FROM 100 ACRES .NETHERTON FARMER’S FIGURES During recent weeks there has been considerable discussion regarding the return to the farmer from the recent increase in price for primary production so the following figures supplied to the Hauraki Plains Gazette by a Netherton farmer should be interesting: The following calculations are worked out on the production for 100 acres of land efficiently managed to milk 70 cows and disclose that the farmer’s net increase is approximately .£95.
