Public Notices (JOUNTY QF JJAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES AT ELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVE ON THAMES VALLEY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD Pursuant to Section 13 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and Section 7 of the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925, I hereby give notice that an election will be held on Saturday, the 27th. day of May, 1944, for the purpose of electing ONE representative of the County of Hauraki Plains on the Thames Valley Electric Power Board, and I hereby appoint the County Council Chambers at Ngatea as the place, and Saturday the 13th. day of May 1944 (before noon) as the day for the nomination of candidates for such office. Dated at Ngatea this Ist. day of May, 1944. E. A. MAHONEY, Returning Officer for the County of Hauraki Plains N. 8.: Nomination papers, which may be obtained on application of the Returning Officer, must be signed by two duly qualified Electors, and the nomination must be consented to in writing by the candidate, who must deposit with the nomination the sum. of £3 to be dealt with according to law.
