Public Notice ; COUNTY QF QHINEMURI i j ELECTION OF COUNCILLORS PURSUANT to Section 65 of The Counties Act 1920 and Section 7 of The Local Elections and Polls Act 1925 and Amendments thereto I hereby give notice that an election will be held on Saturday, the 27th. day of May, 1944, for the purpose of electing Councillors for each Riding of the County of Ohinemuri as under:— Komata Riding—Two Councillors. Paeroa Riding—Two Councillors. Waihi Riding—Two Councillors. Mangaiti Riding—One Councillor. Townships Riding—One Councillor. Waihi West Riding — One /. Councillor. And I hereby appoint the County Office, Belmont road, Paeroa, as the place and SATURDAY, the 13th. day of May 1944 (before ,noon) as the 1 day for the nomination of Candidates for such office. Nomination papers may be obtained on application to the Returning Officer.
ELECTION OF TWO REPRESENTATIVES ON THAMES HOSPITAL BOARD PURSUANT to Section 16 of The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926, and Section 7 of The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925 and Amendments thereto I hereby give notice that an election will be held on SATURDAY the 27th. day of May, 1944, for the purpose of electing TWO Representatives of the County of Ohinemuri on the Thames Hospital Board, and. I hereby appoint the County Office, Belmont Rbad, Paeroa, as the place, and SATURDAY the 13th. day of May, 1944 (before noon) as the day for the nomination of Candidates for such office. Nomination papers may be obtained on application to the Returning Officer and every Candidate shall at the time of nomination deposit with the Returning Officer the sum of £3 which shall be dealt with according to law.
