Notice is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council proposes at its meeting to be held on May 10,1944, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £36,000 for the following purposes: — 1. Providing proportion ot cost of construction of Bridges on Main Highways. 2. Providing proportion of cost of Reconstructing Main Highways. 3. Providing proportion oi cost of construction of Bridges on County Main Roads and Riding Roads. 4. Providing cost of Improvements in Whitianga and Coromandel township areas. 5 Providing cost of construc- ’ tion of County Offices, Workshops and Sheds. The interest and sinking fund on such loan will be secured by a Special Rate of not exceeding one penny in the £ on the Capital Rateable Value of all Rateable property in the County of Coromandel. .. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Coromandel County Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
