VERY DISSATISFIED

PROTEST FROM FARMERS ATTITUDE OF LEADERS Dissatisfaction, with the attitude of the leaders of the dairy industry regarding the recent price increase was expressed at a meeting of farmers held in Paeroa on Monday. Mr D. G. McMillan moved that Mr A. J. Murdock, M.P., be congratulated on disclosing the true facts regarding the discussions which took place with the Government concerning the recent price increase. This was seconded by Mr W. Hayes and carried. It was decided to call a mass meeting of farmers in Paeroa and to ask Messrs W. Marshall, D. Courtney, W. E. Hale, to be the speakers. Messrs A. S. Sutherland arid J. Thorn, M’s.P., be also invited' to attend the meeting.
