Large Eggs Laid

A claim that English Wliite Leghorn liens reared by him hold a record for the production, of eggs is made by Mr J. F. Webber, New Plymouth. In support of his claim Mr Webber has shown an egg weighing 7} ounces and measuring 10 inches and SJ inches respectively around its largest and smallest circumferences. A few days ago an egg was laid measuring 8 inches and 6| inches in circumference.
