ATHLETICS ON THE DOMAIN PAEROA DISTRICT HIGH GIBBONS TAKES PRIMARY CUP There was a good attendance of the general public at the annual sports meeting of the Paeroa District High School held on the Paeroa Domain on Thursday, April 6 when keen competition and close finishes provided excellent sports. The Boys’ Primary Cup was won by Ray Gibbons and the Girls’ Primary Cup by Laura McKee. There was considerable interest in the primary inter-house competition, Weka being the winners with a total of 94 points. The results were as under: — Senior boys.—Tui 23, Kiwi 11, Weka 35.
