Kiwis Meet Many People
The variety of different peoples the soldiers of the N.Z.E.F. in the Pacific have met is described' by Gunner E. McMahon in a prize-winning article in a recent edition of Kiwi News. He points out that in their travels these soldiers have met Frenchmen, Indians. Javanese, Tonkinese and Chinese, besides Americans, Japanese and the natives of all the different islands on which they have been stationed. These contacts have resulted in tolerance and understanding of other cultures and a wide knowledge of human nature.
