PLASTIC HOUSES

INFORMATION IS SOUGHT CONSTRUCTION IN AMERICA The building of plastic houses was one of the coming things in America, said Mr H. Valder when speaking at the Hamilton Rotary Club, and it was interesting to realise that the plastic material for the houses could be piade from a number of things, notably the soya bean. Endeavours to have plastic houses exported from America had met with the reply that these could not be exported, but Mr Valder stated* that he. had written to the New Zealand Minister to Washington, Mr Nash, to ask him whether he could have one exported to the Dominion so that more information, could be obtained about plastic houses.
