CUT BY SLASHER
HEDGE CUTTING ACCIDENT INCIDENT AT NETHERTON A severe cut on his right arm was suffered by Mr G. E. Sarjant of Netherton recently when a slasher he was using slipped. Mr Sarjant has been confined to his bed for some days as a result of the injury. The accident occurred when Mr Sarjant slipped on a ladder while cutting a hedge on his property. Although he threw the slasher clear it hit the hedge and bounced back, striking Mr Sarjant’s right wrist, inflictihg a very deep cut necessitating six stitches.
Mr .Sarjant ‘is now progressing satisfactorily.
