COUNTY STAFF PRAISED LETTER -FROM RATEPAYER “I wish to thank you and your fellow councillors for approving and having constructed the concrete ford over the Ohinemuri river. I would also like to place on record my appreciation of the way in which your workmen did the job. I will say. I have never worked with harder toilers,” stated a letter from Mr T. J. Lindsay , Paeroa road, Waihi, to the March meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council. Councillors expressed gratification at the receipt of such a letter and the work done by the staff. The engineer, Mr L. E. Shaw, spoke highly of the work done by the staff, outlining the job which' the men had done.
