MORE LAUGHS
“ROAD TO MOROCCO” PROGRAMME AT REGENT DELIGHTFUL & ENTERTAINING The nearest thing to a three-ring circus is about to hit Blanktown! It’s Paramount’s newest and most riotous “Road” picture, “Road to Morocco,* co-starring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamour, and it will show at the Regent Theatre Saturday and Monday. Critics wherever it has played have hailed “Road To Morocco” as one of the funniest films ever designed' to improve the nation’s morale. The story is completely incidental to the gags, which, word has it, represent Bing and Bob in rare form. And Bing and Bob in rare form are an entertainment treat no movie—or radio—fan will want to miss. Their carryings on in this one, which involve the storming of Princess Shalmar’s' palace and the rescuing of the princess (Dorothy Lamour)' and her lady-in-wating, Dona Drake, from a big, bad sheik, provide more laughs than any picture this year. In addition, there are four new hit tunes, including “Constantly.” FINALLY TO-NIGHT DOUBLE FEATURE “Broadway Limited” and “ A Gentleman After Dark” will show finally to-night at the Regent Theatre.
