LICENSING ELECTION OLD COMMITTEE RETURNS POLL HELD ON TUESDAY The election for the Thames Licensing Committee was held on Tuesday and resulted in the old committee all being returned to, office. A feature of the election was the lack of interest shown by the general public as evidenced in the small numbers who bothered to cast their votes. Details of the voting are as under: —

HAURAKI COMMITTEE POSITION STILL IN DOUBT Few people in the Hauraki electorate bothered to cast their votes in the licensing election held on Tuesday, the result of the voting for the five seats being as follows, the sitting member is shown by an asterisk.
