SPEEDING CARS
COMPLAINT TO COUNCIL TRAFFIC PAST TURUA SCHOOL A complaint that cars were travelling at an excessive speed past the Turua School was made by Cr. A. H. Sutton at Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council. Ct. Sutton stated that he had been asked to bring the matter up in view of the danger to the children. The clerk, Mr E. A. Mahoney, was instructed to request the traffic inspector to take the matter up.
