BACONERS SELL TO £4/13/PTG SALE HELD IN PAEROA There was a very large yarding of fat pigs but a smaller yarding of stores at the fortnightly sale conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Ltd., held at Paeroa on Monday. All classes of fat pigs again advanced in prices. Choppers made from £3 to £6 ss; heavy baconers, £4 5 s to £4 13s; medium, £3 15s to £4 4s; lighter, £3 9s to £3 14s; heavy porkers, £3 to £3 8s; medium, £2 10s to £2 14s; light, £2 to £2 8s; stores, 30s to 38s; slips, 20‘s to 255; good weaners, 10s to l'ss; others, 5s to 10s; sows with litters, £2 to £3 ss; sows close to profit, £2 to £3; boars, Ign. to 3gns.
