STORE AND WEANER PIGS DEMAND FOR CATTLE GOOD The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company .Ltd., report that at their weekly* stock sale held at Morrinsville on Friday lambs were yarded in full numbers. .Steady values were maintained for good quality pens while store lambs were not so keenly sought as at recent sales. 'Two-tooth wethers were also dull of sale. The advertised entry of breeding ewes attracted a large attendance of buyers. Competition for good sheep was again keen and last week’s advanced rates for this class were maintained. Small and poorer quality sheep were not as keenly sought. A smaller yarding of cattle was penned, and values remained firm. Store and boner cows were in advance of late quotations. A smaller yarding of all classes of pigs came forward, baconers and porkers remaining firm at recent late rates. Bidding for a light entry of store and weaner pigs was spirited, and prices realised were in advance of those ruling last week. Quotations: —

Sheep.—Best 2-th. ewes, to 35s 6d; medium, 2-th. ewes, 26s to 27s 6d; smaller, 23s to 255; cull 2-th. ewes, 19s to 21s; 4 and 6-th. ewes, to 275; good 4 and 5-year ewes, 23s to 23s lOd; medium 4 and 5-year ewes, '2ls to 22s 6d; good 5-year ewes, 21s 6d to 22s 6d; medium, 19’s to 20 s; smaller, 17s 6di to 22s 6d; good 5-year ewes, 21s 6d to 22s 6d; medium. 19 s to 20s; smaller, 17s 6d to 18s 6d; s.m. ewes, 15s to 16s; light fat hoggets, 245; fat ewes, to 14s; light fat lambs, 18s to 19s 2d; forward woolly lambs, 15s 6d to 16s 9d; good woolly m.s. lambs, 16s 9d. to 17s 6d; shorn lambs, 13s 6d to 14s 4d; medium shorn lambs, Ils 6d to 12s 6d; smaller, 9s to 9s 6d.
