MEETING IN COROMANDEL £1440 TO BE RAISED THIS YEAR The Coromandel Inter-Zone Patriotic Committee held its first meeting of the year recently when it was decided to put forward a suggestion of a West versus East Committee to make the 1944 appeal for funds. The 1943 appeal ended up £228 16s 8d short'of the county quota and this amount is * added on to the 1944 appeal, making a sum of £1440 12s 3d as Coromandel county’s share of the Thames Zone requirements.
