Paeroa pig sale conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., on Monday, a good yarding of pigs came forward for the time of the year. Quite a number of fat pigs sold readily at recent rates, baconers making to £4 19s. Small stores sold well. Heavy baconers, £4 14s to £4 19s; medium, £4 5s to £4 14s; light, £3 15s to £4 ss; heavy porkers,. £3 5s to £3 12s; medium, £2 15s to £3 4s; light, £2 5s to 212 s; large stores, £2 to £3; slips, 30s to 355; good weaners, 23s to 30s; others, 15s to 225; sows, close to profit, £3 to £4 10s; sows with litters, £4 to £l5; choppers, £2 10s to £4.
